Pray:

    • Read 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 thanking God for his free gift of eternal life, and asking him to increase our confidence and expectation of being ‘with the Lord forever’.

    • Please pray for Ed Neill serving at Grosvenor Road Baptist Church in Dublin. Pray that he and the rest of the church might be strengthened and encouraged in the gospel as they begin to meet together again in person. And pray for them and other Bible-believing churches in Dublin and the Republic of Ireland as they seek to reach out with the gospel to a people largely disillusioned with religion.

    • Use the Lord’s prayer in Luke 11:2-4 using each line as a category to expand on according to what is in your heart.

Staying in Touch

Under lockdown we can feel very disconnected from each other. Here is an update from Murray and Heather to help us keep in touch and fuel our prayers.

Pray:

Please take time to read Psalm 9. Please note the title of the psalm.

  • Spend time thanking God that he is able to perfectly dispense justice and destroy all wickedness (verse 16).
  • But what about the punishment that is due for our sin? Give thanks for “the death of the son”.
  • Thank God for all he has given you in Christ (verse 1) and unburden your concerns to him (verse 9).

Pray for Nigeria (see Operation World

  • Pray for the Creightons as they move to Jos and Rick takes up a new teaching post.
