Staying In Touch

Under lockdown we can feel very disconnected from each other. Here is an update from James, Rachel and Andrew to help us keep in touch and fuel our prayers.

Pray:

      • Pray for James, Rachel and their family.

      • In the light of last week’s sermon, thank God for the forgiveness of sins – available to even the worst of sinners – and the gift of the Holy Spirit.

      • Please pray for the church in China facing difficulties and pressure from the authorities. Pray that believers may remain steadfast under trial and might be a great witness to those around them.

      • Pray for us as a church that we might enjoy some refreshment and rest over the summer.

      • Pray on for a safe return to church, that wise decisions would be made, and for safety and health for all.

      • Pray that we might continue to persevere in the faith, growing in fruitfulness and love for the Lord.

      • Please pray for Sarah Nicholson and Joshua Lee as they begin their new life together.

Staying In Touch

Under lockdown we can feel very disconnected from each other. Here is an update from Stuart and Becky to help us keep in touch and fuel our prayers.

Pray:

Read Acts 2:42-47

Give thanks for the Lord Jesus – that he has forgiven and saved even us.

Pray that by his Holy Spirit he would renew us as a church:

  • Ask that we might continue to have a love for apostolic truth. Pray for a church-wide continued growth in knowledge of God and a holding onto sound doctrine.
  • Pray that we would have a deep togetherness as a church and with our brothers and sisters everywhere.
  • Pray that we would be a church devoted to prayer.
  • Ask that we see God’s power in our nation bringing many to the Lord Jesus.

Sermon

Reading: Exodus 20:8-11, Matthew 11:28-30, Rick
Sermon: Phil Vance
Song: I heard the voice of Jesus say

Grace

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all, now and forevermore.
Amen.
