Thanks for the Covid offering from Nigeria and Staying In Touch

Under lockdown we can feel very disconnected from each other. Here is an update from Michael and Hannah to help us keep in touch and fuel our prayers.

Pray:

      • Do pray for Michael, Hannah and family.

      • Do pray for the folk in Nigeria, Ethiopia, Turkey, Egypt and Pakistan whom we were able to support with the Covid offering. Pray that God may continue to meet their needs, and that He would bring them peace and confidence in Him in difficult circumstances.

      • Pray for us as a church that we may continue to grow in devotion to the apostles’ teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Pray that we might be marked out by these things, and that through them God might grow us in love and service of Christ.

Staying In Touch

Under lockdown we can feel very disconnected from each other. Here is an update from Rob and Robin to help us keep in touch and fuel our prayers.

Pray:

  • Read the Lord’s prayer in Matthew 6:7-15
  • Give thanks that we can call God father, rejoicing in our adoption through Jesus by the Holy Spirit.
  • Take time to thank him for being such a good father to us.
  • Take the other phrases in verses 9-10 and pray for the advance of the gospel and the return of Jesus.
  • Pray the three requests of verses 11-15.  As you do so let go of any grudges.
  • Pray for the Parsons family and the work at Hertford Town Church.
