It may be that you're interested in considering the claims of the Christian faith.

Whether you're a sceptic or an avowed atheist, at Spicer Street we believe that the message about Jesus Christ is ‘Good News' for everyone. We think this because we are convinced it is true and if that is the case it must be true for all peoples at all times and so it will stand up to careful scrutiny. In order to facilitate this we run a number of different courses at the church throughout the year.

Christianity Explored
Christianity Explored provides an opportunity to look into the heart of the Christian faith over a number of weeks in an informal setting. Each week we investigate the claims of Jesus Christ as recorded in the eye-witness account in Mark's Gospel. The small group format enables dialogue where every question is welcomed and every point of view taken seriously.

The course is free, with each session lasting about 1½ hours. Our next course starts on Wednesday 7th April and will run for 4 Wednesday evenings. Please contact us for more details.

The World We All Want
The World We All Want is for people who are interested in looking into the message of the Bible. Developed by The Crowded House in Sheffield, the course is a Bible overview to show us how God has set up His world and how He plans to fix what's gone wrong.

Sunday Services
Another important forum for those who are investigating Christianity is our Sunday Services. Each week we have plenty of people at our church who are not Christians but who want to hear what the Bible has to say and see what the church is about. We welcome anyone in that situation and both our members and our pastors are only too glad to chat through questions, whether over coffee after the service or at another time.
